What is hypnosis, and how does it work?
Hypnosis is an induction state of consciousness in which a person is highly responsive to suggestions or directions.
It’s used to recover suppressed memories or to allow modifications of behavior and habits. It is a very focused state of attention with reduced peripheral awareness. In this state of mind, considered deep relaxation but hyper focused, we can respond to suggestions.
Hypnosis can be used to access all the memories and experiences we have had so far.
These memories are all stored in our subconscious mind. When we get into this relaxed state and know we are safe and feeling comfortable, we can access them. Hypnosis is very natural, and we go in and out of it throughout our days without realizing it. For example, when you are driving, watching television, reading and find yourself daydreaming, this is a state of hypnosis. Your mind is relaxed and focused, and you may not be aware of the happenings around you. Hypnosis is used by a hypnotherapist to guide you to make the changes you consider important to get past a stuck state or an emotional issue.
Hypnosis works well via online sessions, as well as in person.
As long as you have a good connection to Wi-Fi and are in a safe and comfortable place, you can have success right from your home! Obviously, you wouldn’t want to be driving your car or trying to do other tasks during a hypnosis session. It takes your full attention to achieve the changes you desire.
Hypnosis is not a magic spell that is cast upon you.
I cannot do the work for you. You must really be ready to make the changes you are seeking. If you believe you can and you truly desire to make a change, and your beliefs align with your thoughts, anything is possible.
